Overview

In partnership with Limerick Institute of Technology, our 3rd Young Innovators event will bring together nearly 700 second level students from schools across Ireland. Shannon Airport will be transformed into an incredible student think-tank as students compete for their schools and imagine the world 50 years from now.

The winning teams will receive an array of technology prizes with the top award being an exciting weeklong internship to Silicon Valley, flights courtesy of Aer Lingus. “This was a once in a life time opportunity for the students. It inspired them to think outside the box and believe in themselves, and it opened up their imaginations to possibilities they might not have considered prior to this.”

-Emer Magee, Teacher for Winning Team 2016
